The Seaside Osteo & Allied Health
The Seaside Osteo & Allied Health
If your club can gather expressions of interest from 20 players or more, we’ll deliver a fully funded concussion education workshop at your club — valued at $2,600. Our concussion expert, Callum, will come to your clubrooms and run a practical, evidence-based session designed to give coaches, committee members and parents clarity and confidence around head knocks.

Every season, clubs face difficult decisions around head knocks.
Most coaches and committee members:
Aren’t fully confident identifying concussion
Feel pressure on game day
Worry about getting it wrong
Don’t have a clear return-to-play framework
This workshop removes the guesswork.

Dr Callum Traynor, Principal Osteopath at The Seaside Osteo, combines over fifteen years of clinical experience with a double Bachelor’s degree in Health and Applied Science (Osteopathy), along with post-graduate specialist training in concussion assessment and rehabilitation.
With a strong focus on sports injuries and community health, Callum works closely with local athletes, coaches and clubs to improve injury awareness and on-field decision-making. Through his involvement with the Rosebud Football Netball Club and Sports Medicine Australia, he has seen firsthand the challenges clubs face when managing head knocks.
This workshop provides practical, evidence-based education to help community sporting clubs confidently recognise concussion, respond appropriately on game day, and support safe return-to-play decisions.
As a Dromana local, Callum is passionate about strengthening the safety, confidence and knowledge of clubs across the Mornington Peninsula.
Register your interest to help your club secure a free concussion workshop.
Step 1: Each player or family submits their own expression of interest (we require 20 individual submissions from your club — not just one form per club)
Step 2: We contact your club to schedule the free workshop (valued at $2,600)
Step 3: After the workshop, players and families can choose to access optional baseline testing packages if they wish. There is no obligation to proceed with testing.
Yes. The workshop is valued at $2,600 and is delivered at no cost to eligible clubs. If your club secures expressions of interest from 20 members or families, the session is fully funded.
When 20 members or families from your club register interest in the concussion education workshop, your club becomes eligible for the free session.
Once that threshold is reached, we’ll contact your club manager to lock in a date.
After the workshop, we’ll provide information about optional baseline testing packages — there is no obligation to proceed.
The session runs for approximately 90 minutes, including time for practical examples and Q&A.

The workshop is delivered in person at your clubrooms or nominated venue.
